Last weekend L and I decided to travel up north.

It was not as colorful as we wished, but it was still so very interesting and warm looking. I am sure L will be posing pictures from this trip, but for now, here are mine:





This road is many years abandoned. I found the road using satellite imagery, knowing it would be a path to the rapids I first checked out many weeks ago. Although the rapids in the photo above look nothing like "rapids", I assure you that it is because of the dry spell they are also feeling up north.



The beauty that can been seen with a short ride in a car makes Utica's location so much more comfortable...
